People who care about their children would care about their education a lot. It is very important to find the right place, the right school, and finally the right teachers and tutors.

Who is actually a tutor? There are several definitions of this term. It depends on geography, status and school. In some places a tutor is a person that graduated the school and now conducts some lectures for those who are going to graduate. In other places this person can be called a teaching assistant. Sometimes tutors are teachers ho take care about guiding and focusing the conversation. But mostly tutors are the teachers who come home to his students, teach them and control their knowledge. Besides, they help parents or guardians of those students, advice them the textbooks and methods of teaching. Tutors assess the learners and explain them and their parents about the problems in the teaching plan they have.

Kinds of tutoring. There also can be private tutors. These people give individual classes to students or small groups of them. Due to this system a learner can get more knowledge and his or her abilities can be developed much faster because the bigger portion of attention is paid to him or her. Parents or families of those students pay to the private tutor. This is very fruitful way of teaching and very convenient in case if a student is ill in bed or especially gifted and wants to upgrade the knowledge. Tutor can also be a person that just wants to help another person to study a specific course. There is one more kind of tutoring: peer tutoring. This is when one student is helping the other student having special strategies and protocols of teaching. Besides, lately on-line tutoring became very popular. Having an on-line tutor, a student is separated from him or her and gets the task over the Internet. This is very convenient when some people live in secluded areas with no schools.
